Understanding Gaslighting - RAS

What the hell is this one? Major NLP happening right now and I’ll review that term next time. The reticular activating system is a powerful tool that is used by DS mainstream media outlets to grab the attention of their viewers and readers. In the case of DS left wing mainstream media, the RAS could be used in a variety of ways to promote their political agenda and engage ‘their’ audience.

One way the RAS might be used MSM is by using emotionally charged language and imagery. This could include using powerful words and phrases to describe political issues or events, as well as using images and videos that evoke strong emotional responses. By doing this, MSM can tap into the emotions of their viewers, making them more likely to engage with the content and share it with others.

Another way the RAS might be used is by focusing on specific issues or stories that are likely to appeal to their liberal audience. This could include covering topics such as social justice, climate change, racism, and income inequality. By focusing on these issues, MSM outlets can create content that is more likely to resonate with their audience, leading to increased engagement and enforcing their agenda.

Finally, the RAS could be used by MSM to create content that reinforces their audience's existing beliefs and values. This could include using experts and commentators who share their audience's political views, as well as covering stories and events that align with their audience's beliefs. By doing this, they can create content (Gaslighting) that is more likely to be consumed and shared by their audience, leading to increased engagement and influence.

By using emotionally charged language and imagery, focusing on specific issues, and reinforcing their audience's existing beliefs and values, MSM can create content that is more likely influence their base audience thoughts and agitate the conservative movement.
